Our second season at GARSEF is done, and the numbers speak for themselves. Sommer Elementary and Brushy Creek Elementary sent students to the Greater Austin Regional Science & Engineering Fair — and they showed up.
Between the two schools, Science Stars students walked away with 22 awards, including 17 first-place ribbons and a special award from Earth Day Austin. Here's the full breakdown.

Projects ranged from robotics and magnetic levitation to water filtration and AI — a genuinely impressive range for elementary students.
